Monday January 4th, 2021: Zoom will be today Period 3. Welcome to the first day of online learning for the next two weeks! Since we finished our unit on Governments and Economies before the break and were able to start Environmental Resources, we will continue with that unit this week. This unit will correspond with pages 105-116 in your textbook. I am attaching these pages as a PDF file below in case you do not have your book. This is required reading, feel free to spread it out as you see fit. (Although, you all read portions before break).
Today we will be reviewing the materials gone over prior to the break. I am attaching the PowerPoint that we will use. My recommendation is to take notes in addition to what may be on the slides.
(Depending on what is easier for you, I have attached the PowerPoint as a Keynote Presentation, PowerPoint, and PDF file.)

that he saw and eventually came to accept two more items). Why was the order of things he came to accept as true in that order? (Think about
what reality or truth was to him in the cave).
2: What affect do you think this new knowledge will have on the prisoner? (Think about what it might be like to find out what one thought was true
turned out to be false).
3: If in the prisoner's position, would it be easier to not be released from the cave? Would you want to be released? Explain your positions.
Homework: Complete the questions above to be immediately handed in at the beginning of class tomorrow.
